Pall-Ex has completed its second March in March in aid of Combat Stress.
The team from Pall-Ex, headed up by the marketing department completed two miles around the scenic Sense Valley park in Ibstock, near to the company’s central hub in Coalville, Leicestershire earlier in the week.
Having completed two team walks and multiple individual marches, the team have now completed over 8 miles and have so far raised £270, over a third of the way to their target of £750.
Harry Marshall, Pall-Ex’s Marketing Assistant and challenge Team Captain explains why they are taking on the challenge.
“Combat Stress do amazing work and I have seen first-hand the passion their people have to support veterans, and this is a huge motivation for all of us.
“We are really enjoying the walks together and it’s supporting our mental health as we unwind after a day at the office. Being able to get outdoors and take in our surroundings whilst raising money for such a fantastic cause is brilliant!
“We must say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us so far, we hope to reach our target soon.”
The next march will take place on Monday 16th March at Beacon Hill near Loughborough and will start at 17:45.
