The Pall-Ex marketing team kicked off their March in March challenge on Monday 2nd March with help from fellow Pall-Ex staff members Dean Stevens, Kerry Knapp and her daughter Ivy.
The challenge, in aid of Combat Stress, tasks individuals or teams with walking 10 miles during March, either in one day or over the course of the month.
Monday night saw the team head to Abbotts Oak, Coalville, to complete the first of their walks.
With the light fading, the team from the quality palletised freight network were able to complete their first few miles.
After finishing the walk, Pall-Ex’s UK & European Marketing Manager Abby Langley commented: “It is a shame we couldn’t have done more tonight but we have made a good start.
“Everyone enjoyed it, especially Lynsey’s dog, Dodger! Combat Stress is a fantastic charity and I look forward to marching throughout March to raise as much money as possible for this brilliant cause.”
“It would be great to see more people join us next week when we take on walk number two at Sence Valley in Ibstock”.
The next organised walk will take place on Thursday 12th March at Sence Valley in Ibstock and will start at 17:45.
