Pall-Ex Makes Motor Transport Awards Shortlist

Pall-Ex is driving into awards season with pride as the shortlist for the Oscars of the logistics industry, the Motor Transport Awards 2019, is announced.

Pall-Ex is also only the pallet network to be shortlisted for two accolades in the upcoming awards, which are known as the Oscars of the logistics industry and celebrate the sector’s biggest successes of the last 12 months.

We have been shortlisted for the Partnership Award for our work alongside Staples Solutions, which highlights a mutually beneficial partnership between operator and customer.

The partnership has enabled us to secure major new contracts by working together to offer full warehousing, fulfilment and distribution services, and has been celebrated with the launch of our new joint livery.

Pall-Ex has also been named a finalist in the Safety in Operation category, which celebrates entrants who are demonstrating an exceptional commitment to all-around operational safety.

The nomination is due to our ongoing drive to create a high quality, safety-first working environment through improved staff engagement and investment.

A quality membership

One of Pall-Ex’s quality founder members, ADD Express has also made the shortlist for a coveted Motor Transport Award.

The Yorkshire firm is in the running for Haulier of the Year, an award that demonstrates their commitment to high operational standards, staff development and business success, after collecting a regional trophy at the Pall-Ex Awards.

Working Together. Winning Together.

Kevin Buchanan, Group managing director at Pall-Ex, comments: “We are also delighted to see a long-term Pall-Ex member ADD Express shortlisted for Haulier of the Year and hope to see them collect the coveted accolade on the night.

“Being shortlisted for two awards is a great achievement in itself, so we are thrilled to have these initiatives recognised. Both nominations are testament to the team ethos we have at the heart of Pall-Ex, which helps us all to achieve success by working together.

“Our commitment to raising safety standards is benefitting our workforce and operation as a whole, while our investment and commitment to Staples Solutions demonstrates how two businesses can work together to create mutually beneficial opportunities.”

We have previously achieved pole position at the awards having scooped the sought-after Team of the Year Award in 2015 and 2017 and the Customer Care trophy in 2018.

We’ll be donning our finest outfits for the awards ceremony at Grosvenor House Hotel in London's Park Lane on the 3rd July, when the winners will be announced.
