Place 2 Place Logistics Ltd (P2P) has agreed on an exciting sponsorship deal with its local football club, Hanley Town FC (HTFC).
The Stoke-on-Trent-based logistics company has signed a rolling 12-month contract with the North West Counties League Premier Division team. The deal will support the club in its ambition to gain promotion in the coming season, and will showcase P2P’s branding on pitch-side signage.
Mark Barfoot of P2P thinks that the deal will benefit everyone involved.
He comments: “We believe Hanley Town FC are in an excellent position to win a couple of promotions in the next few seasons, so it’s a brilliant time to get involved and grow our relationship.
As a Staffordshire-based business it’s an exciting opportunity for us both, and we share the same ideals for progression and wanting to achieve the very best! We are proud of our community and are looking forward to watching Hanley succeed in the 2018/2019 season and beyond.
As a long-standing member of Pall-Ex, P2P offers quality palletised distribution services across the UK and Europe. Its new association with Hanley Town FC is testament to its ongoing commitment of supporting the local community.
Simon Boswell, Chairman of Hanley Town FC, comments on the sponsorship:
“We have big ambitions to succeed at this club and P2P will be a key factor in us achieving our goals; we cannot thank Mark Barfoot and Mark Whitehead enough for their kind sponsorship and it fills us with confidence that they see our ambition and our potential going forward.
“We have a small but extremely dedicated and hard-working committee and volunteers at HTFC and we would like to say that we are all over the moon that P2P will be working with us for what we hope will be a long and successful relationship. We would all like to thank them for joining us on our grassroots football journey; without kind sponsorship from local businesses like P2P grassroots football would simply not exist.”
