A colourful new fleet of long-haul trailers has been delivered to Greyland, reflecting on the company’s standing as one of Britain’s leading independent cleaning chemical manufacturers.
The new trailers have been delivered in conjunction with ADD Express and Pall-Ex Group. The haulage contract means that not only will ADD Express deliver bulk orders on behalf of Greyland, but, as members of the Pall-Ex distribution network, they can also quickly and efficiently despatch anything on a pallet to any part of the mainland UK. Thus further guaranteeing to uphold Greyland’s long-established promise of fulfilling order to delivery cycles faster than anyone else – no matter how small the order. Like Greyland, ADD Express has also grown from small beginnings, taking to the road nearly 30 years ago with just 5 lorries to now known as a leading distributor with a 50-vehicle fleet and moving 700 pallets daily. Greyland managing director Richard Dyson, welcoming the first of the fleet with David Fairbrother, of ADD Express, commented: “ADD Express cope very comfortably with everything that we ask of them and we look forward to enjoying a long-term arrangement that will continue to grow with the company.” There has been a significant increase in capacity at the Greyland factory due to further investment to satisfy an ever-growing order book, and it is anticipated that the new haulage contract with ADD Express will be displaying the Greyland bespoke livery in every part of the country.
