Basildon based Pall-Ex London has strengthened its sales team by welcoming Jackie Marks, who brings over 20 years of sales experience to the logistics firm.
The appointment signifies the Pall-Ex member’s ambition to continue business growth in-spite of the Covid-19 pandemic, as the logistics industry remains vital to keeping the country moving.
Jackie joins Pall-Ex London as a Business Development Manager (BDM) after working in a variety of sales and account management roles across various sectors.
One such role saw Jackie responsible for the handling and delivery of court documents as well as House of Commons mail.
In addition to this, Jackie was also charged with the care of two large pharmaceutical contracts, ensuring life-saving medication reached those who needed it.
The stringent security measures and controls in place, as well as the high compliance thresholds whilst working with these accounts have meant Jackie is no stranger finding solutions for her customers, no matter what restrictions are in place.
As she begins to deliver bespoke, high-quality palletised freight solutions to businesses in and around the Basildon area, Jackie is excited by the prospect of the challenge of selling in a post-Covid world.
She comments:

“I have encountered a lot of challenges in my career so far, but I think often not being able to sell face to face is one of the biggest any of us have seen.
