Pall-Ex celebrates latest awards nomination

Pall-Ex is leading the way with its latest awards nomination, after a key figure in the company was named as a finalist in the FTA everywoman in Transport and Logistics Awards.

Pall-Ex’s director of network services, Sue Buchanan, has been shortlisted for the coveted industry leader accolade in the annual awards, which recognises and celebrates the achievements of women in the sector.

Sue, who was nominated for the award by colleagues, joined the company in 2014 and is responsible for the operational management of Pall-Ex’s UK network, playing a pivotal role in its continued success and growth.

The award shortlisted comes following Sue’s significant contributions to the strategic direction of Pall-Ex and her continued efforts in developing and strengthening its network.

Sue comments: “I’m incredibly proud to have been shortlisted for this award, especially after being nominated by my colleagues – it is fantastic to know that they regard me so highly.”

Hilary Devey CBE, CEO, Owner and Chairwomen at Pall-Ex, comments:

“This latest awards nomination is a fantastic achievement for Sue and Pall-Ex as a whole, as we continue to build our reputation as the number one pallet network for quality.

“Over the last four years, Sue has worked hard to build and improve our network membership, identifying opportunities to improve our coverage and support our growth, while maintaining our exceptionally high standards.

As well as using her 20 years’ experience to drive Pall-Ex forward, Sue’s achievements also make her a great role model to women within the company and the industry as a whole.”

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on 14th June.
