Pall-Ex has sped into 2018 with success, after becoming the first and only pallet network to receive the industry’s gold standard – the latest ISO quality standard – across the whole of its network.
The haulage giant has received accreditation for the new ISO 9001: 2015 standard across its quality management systems, which demonstrates its first-class ability to meet customer, statutory and regulatory requirements, while also enhancing customer satisfaction.
The announcement comes as the firm continues to cement its position as the number one pallet network for quality, after introducing operational changes to improve efficiency and load quality over the last 12 months, making it market leaders in damage reduction, and agreed partnerships with a number of big names.
Kevin Buchanan, Group managing director at Pall-Ex, comments: “This latest achievement is a key moment for Pall-Ex, as it demonstrates our commitment to quality and safety, and further positions us as a pallet network renowned for its forward-thinking approach.
“It enables the network to begin the year on the right note and will allow us to focus on increasing customer satisfaction throughout 2018.
“As leaders in our industry it is important for us to put quality at the heart of everything we do and this underlines our pledge to meeting and exceeding expectations.
“A big thank you to our quality, health, safety and environmental manager, Richard Leedham, who had a pivotal role within the ISO process, ensuring all departments worked together successfully and collaborated on this huge project. He navigated us through this transition to ensure our accreditation was a success.”
