Supporting those who service
Armed Forces Covenant
Pall-Ex first signed the Armed Forces Covenant in July 2019, pledging to treat those who serve, or have served, and their families with fairness and respect.
Pall-Ex wanted to guarantee that they will not be in any way disadvantaged within our business as a consequence of their service.
In March 2020, we re-signed the Armed Forces Covenant, with updated pledges to receive Silver status. We are now looking to reach the gold standard by offering the best opportunities for serving and ex-service personnel as well as cadet instructors and their families.

We have many ex military employees within Pall-Ex in all roles throughout the business including drivers, operation and our director of International Business Units, Mark Steel came into the business as the sales and marketing director after leaving the RAF. There are so many opportunities within Pall-Ex for Veterans, Cadet Instructors, Reservists and their families to support their careers beyond the military.
WE'VE GONE GOLD
Pall-Ex was recently awarded the Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award from this Ministry of Defence in acknowledgement of the outstanding support provided to the Armed Forces community.
The Gold Award represents the highest badge of honour, demonstrating that Pall-Ex is is committed to supporting those who serve and their families, as well as helping veterans find new and rewarding careers outside of the Armed Forces.
FUNDRAISING AND AWARDS
Since 2019, our main chosen charity for Pall-Ex is Combat Stress and in 2021 we raised £35,000 for this charity and we are currently taking part in the March in March campaign in 2022.
It is important for us to raise money for Combat Stress as they are the UK's leading charity for Vetrans' mental health.
In 2022, during the Extra Mile Awards held at the Cavalry and Guards Club in central London, Combat Stress presented Pall-Ex with the Corporate Fundraising Group of the Year award.
